It's been a very long time since I've uploaded anything to DA, hasn't it?  For those of you who have been following me for years, I originally joined DA to showcase a little poetry and sketches as well as photo manipulations.  That was back in 2005. Since then, I feel like I have grown out of that media, so I picked up photography.  I had done a little photography in high school and looking back, I realize that I had the talent, but not the technique.  I worked in electronics at a well known department store and found myself enjoying selling cameras more than I did TVs.  That led to another job at a national camera retailer and I have been h

So I read about this awesome thing called light painting and now I want to do it! Tonight hopefully I will be able to go out with a friend of mine and see how it all works!  If it does, how awesome would that be to able to offer it as a creative service for my photography business?  If anyone has ever experimented with light painting before  and has any tips, please let me know! Oh and I was personally invited by a concert promoter to EchoFest on Sept. 26th.  It's an all Colorado local music festival based in Evergreen (which should be BEAUTIFUL this time of year).  I am sooooooo excited!  Wish  me luck!
